R & O Restaurant is a pretty solid choice for a meal. The ambiance is bright and while it isn't fancy,it is overall pleasant. My server was friendly and helpful. I went with the R & O Special po' boy. It was a good choice. Next time, I think that I will try their veal parmigiana. I was there on a Sunday and the place was packed. People definitely know this is a great choice. I would definitely recommend here.

We went to eat at R&O's. We were a party of four. You'd better get there when they open because they fill up fast!! The seafood was perfect as always. It gets a little crowded and loud but the food is well worth it. I recently ordered a muffuletta to go. Wow, what a sandwich. Full of meat and a thick layer of olive salad melted into the cheese. I could only eat 1/4. It'll easily feed 3-4 people. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!
Food is consistently good. Old style family restaurant. Good pizza, po boys and fried seafood. Also love the Italian olive salad.
Incredible food and quality service. Ask for Ashley! She made sure everyone had a full drink and got exactly what they ordered. I got the seafood platter, but its enough food to feed 2 people. My daughter always orders the pizza and it never disapoints. You definitely get your money's worth. We had a fun time with family celebrating my FILs birthday. The restaurant was crowded and everybody sang along, the waitstaff are very accommodating and I'm pretty sure he won't forget this birthday. I will definitely be returning and reccomend this place to everyone who comes to NOLA. Thank you for the great time.
First time in NOLA and first place to grab food after some local friends brought us here. WOW, it set the bar high with the Shrimp Po-boy and roast beef fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. We also had the salad which was huge and delicious along with the roast beef po-boy and plate of shrimp. Both were super yummy! The ambiance was busy and family friendly. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. Definitely can't wait to go back and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Ate too quickly to take photos but got some aftershots

My family has been going to this place since they've opened in 1980 and we love it! They have really good classic New Orleans comfort food. I really like how they use Italian bread as poboy bread and their gumbo is one of my go to meals. Very loud and lively place. Service is pretty nice.
